The SAT and ACT are important college tests and looking for an affordable preparation courses can be difficult. West Angeles Church of God is offering a $150 preparation course just in time for the March 13 test.

FAFSA APPLICATION & CAL GRANT GPA VERIFICATION

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now open. Students are also encouraged to submit their Cal Grant GPA Verification to qualify for California state grants.

CASH FOR COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP @ WHS

Westchester High School will be hosting a Cash for College Financial Workshop on Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 9am to 2pm. There will be a workshop every hour. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

The City of Los Angeles invites your students to be part of the Future Leaders� Summit.

The event opens at 9:15 am on November 4th at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Room 502.

Presentations run in the morning from 9:30 � 10:15 and 10:30 � 11:15.

The sign up deadline is Friday, October 23, and is limited to 320 students.

Up to 40 students per school
may attend. Registration is first-come, first-served.
